I'm Chuck Callebs. My experience includes Coinbase, Thumbtack, and Etsy, and I cut my teeth on desktop applications early in my career.

I miss being able to purchase high-quality software that felt like it was yours. AI-assisted development has changed the economics of building focused tools, making small, carefully built applications with no telemetry a practical business again. That's why I started Humble Robot Software.

Focus is a feature

An application should be easy to understand: what it does, who it helps, and how to get started. We start with one useful job and build around it.

Performance is part of the experience

Waiting for a tool to launch or finish a routine task interrupts your work. We design with startup time, responsiveness, and resource use in mind. As applications are released, their pages will carry relevant requirements and measured results where available.

Cross-platform, thoughtfully built

We aim to make tools useful across platforms while respecting the way each system works. Supported operating systems and hardware will be specified for each application.

Yours to use

Every application is a one-time purchase, works offline, and includes no telemetry. Your tools should work without an internet connection, and using them should not mean reporting your activity to us.

Clear expectations

Every released application should explain what it does, what it costs, how updates work, and where to find help. Application-specific policies will accompany the relevant release.
