Start with one problem

A long feature list isn’t the goal. Each application should solve a specific problem well, with a workflow that’s easy to understand. We’ll add capabilities when they help that purpose.

Treat performance as a feature

Startup time, responsiveness, and resource use affect how a tool feels every time you use it. They belong in the design process from the beginning.

As we release applications, we intend to share useful performance measurements with the hardware, software versions, and test conditions needed to interpret them.

These are commitments for every application we build. Each is a one-time purchase, works offline, and includes no telemetry. Upgrade and support terms will be stated clearly for each release.

Cross-platform is a direction, not a substitute for a compatibility list. Each application page will explain its supported systems, installation requirements, availability, and support options.
